The National Society of Black Engineers is proud to present THE HUNT 2017. The HUNT is focused on the amalgamation of three major areas needed by students to succeed beyond their learning environment in the professional world.

Resume Critique

Duration: 7.5 mins per session with 0.5min turnover

Number of stations: 6

Location: Room 1

Description: Students will meet 1-on-1 with industry professionals who will review their Resume and then provide feedback as well as suggest areas of improvement.

COOP Experience

Setup: Panelists on Stage

Location: Room 2

Description: A group of students with extensive co-op experience will share their experiences through an interactive Q/A panelist session. They will have an opportunity to provide background as to how they got their various work opportunities, what they learned from those experiences and any advice they have for students seeking these opportunities.

INTERVIEW

Duration: 7.5 mins per session with 0.5min turnover

Location: Room 1

Description: Students will sit down with an interviewer who will pose common behavioural style questions and then provide feedback on their responses.

Linkedin PHOTOSHOOT

2 photo booths will be set up in room 2 (T29 105)

2 photographers will be taking pictures of attendees for use on their LinkedIn profile

Setup: Semicircle/Casual conversation

Location: Room 2

Description: Professionals of a specific field will be available for answering questions, and providing experiences to those interested in that area. There will also be booths from McMaster departments and companies providing information about their respective groups.
